Every GenTek warranty is active the moment the job is complete, with no yearly inspections and no reapplication fees. It is provided by GenTek Coatings Pty Ltd in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and it stays with the car while you own it.

What Lifetime means
The life of the vehicle, while you own it.
Lifetime means the lifetime of the vehicle while it is owned by the original purchaser, subject to the policy. The warranty ends if the car is sold or transferred to another owner.
Nothing else is required to keep it running. No annual inspection, no reapplication fee. It is written once, on the day of application, and it holds.
Graphene Ultra · LifetimeWhat is covered
Ceramic 9H and Graphene Ultra 10H+ act as a sacrificial layer over the paint and are warranted against damage from:
- Bird and bat droppings
- Insect residue and insect etching
- Weather-induced colour fading and oxidisation
- Tree sap
Fabric, leather and vinyl protection is warranted against permanent staining from:
- Food and drink
- Sunscreen
- Makeup
- Kids and pets
What is excluded
A coating is not scratch-proof and a warranty is not insurance. These are the exclusions, in the same order as the policy.
- Painted accessories and parts fitted after the car left the factory: canopies, body kits, ute lids, spoilers
- Collision, impact, fire, vandalism and weather events
- Neglect, abuse, or failure to take reasonable care of the treated surface
- Stone chips, scratches, swirl marks, wash webbing, rust and rail rust
- Improper application, and untreated, repaired, resprayed or replaced panels
- Reapplication cost, and panels not re-treated within four weeks of a repair
- Damage from magnetic signage, decals, vinyl wraps and stickers
- Manufacturer paint defects, including delamination covered by the vehicle warranty
- Any surface not treated with the product
- Acids, solvents, bleaches, corrosive chemicals, oil-based paints and industrial fallout
- Water marks, bore water and concrete water
- Ute beds and trays
- Abrasive polishing and buffing with cutting compounds
- Neglect, abuse, or failure to take reasonable care of the treated surface
- Rips, tears, burns and vandalism
- Roof lining, steering wheels and gear knobs
- Manufacturer defects and imperfections covered by the vehicle warranty
- Bleaches, acids, corrosive chemicals, ink, dye, chewing gum and paint
- Damage or discolouration from general wear and tear
- Repaired or replaced surfaces not treated with the product
- Damage or stains present before the application
