$695 whole cabin10 years warrantyIn every pack

GenTek interior protection is $695 including GST for the whole cabin, fabric, leather and vinyl, with a ten-year warranty against food and drink, sunscreen, makeup, and kid and pet stains. It is in all four GenTek packs and can be done on its own, mobile or at one of our Sydney workshops.

What it does

Spills sit on the surface long enough to wipe up.

A car's interior takes constant contact. Coffee, sunscreen on the way to the beach, a child's drink bottle, a dog after the park. On untreated fabric a spill soaks into the fibres in seconds. On untreated leather, sunscreen works into the grain.

The protection changes what happens in those first seconds. Fabric is easier to clean before a spill sets. Sunscreen and makeup wipe off leather instead of settling. Vinyl trim stops holding onto grime.

Three surfaces, three products

Each product is formulated for its material and applied to the seats, trim and carpet that need it.

GenTek Fabric Protection bottle

Fabric

Seats and carpets absorb a spill in seconds. The fabric product coats the fibres, so a spill is easier to clean up before it sets.

GenTek Leather Protection bottle

Leather

Sunscreen and makeup are what age leather. The leather product protects the surface without changing how it looks or feels.

GenTek Vinyl Protection bottle

Vinyl

Door trims, dash panels and vinyl seats hold onto grime and sunscreen. The vinyl product keeps them wiping clean, with a matte finish, not a shine.

The price

One price for the cabin. It does not go up for a seven-seater.

Fabric, leather and vinyl, whole cabin
10-year warranty, active from application

Applied by hand, seat by seat

The cabin is cleaned first, then each surface is treated.

Seats, door cards, carpet and trim are vacuumed and cleaned before anything goes on. Then fabric, leather and vinyl each get their product, worked in by hand and left to cure.

If a stain is already set we'll say so before we start. Anything present before the application is not covered by the warranty, which is why a new car gets the most out of it.

Questions about interior protection

What does interior protection cost?

$695 including GST for the whole cabin, fabric, leather and vinyl together, with a ten-year warranty. It is also included in all four GenTek packs, so if you're having the paint coated, it just makes sense.

What is it warranted against?

Permanent staining from food and drink, sunscreen, makeup, and kids and pets, for ten years from the day it goes on. Rips, tears and burns are not stains, and they are not covered. The full list is on the warranty page.

Does it change how the leather looks or feels?

No. The leather product protects the surface without changing the look, the feel or the smell. The fabric product is invisible once dry, and the vinyl product leaves a clean matte finish, not a shine.

Can it be done on a used car?

Yes. The seats and trim are cleaned first, and we'll tell you if a stain is already set. Anything present before the application is not covered, which is why new cars get the most out of it.

How do I look after it?

Wipe spills up when you see them and vacuum as normal. Avoid bleach and solvent cleaners. That is the whole list. There is nothing to reapply and nothing to inspect.
