GenTek Ceramic 9H costs $795 including GST for any vehicle, comes with the decontamination, clay bar and machine polish, and carries a seven-year warranty that is active the moment the job is complete. It is applied by GenTek's own specialists, mobile across Sydney or at one of our Sydney workshops.
What Ceramic 9H does
A hard layer over the clear coat that Sydney has to get through first.
Ceramic 9H bonds to the clear coat and cures into a sacrificial layer. Bird and bat droppings, insect etching, UV fading and tree sap work on that layer instead of the paint, and they let go with a normal wash.
The finish comes up deeper and slicker than bare paint, and it stays that way between washes because dirt and water have less to hold on to.

Ceramic 9H is the right coating when the car works for a living or goes back at the end of a lease. It protects the paint for the years you own it without paying for cover you won't use.

Questions about ceramic coating
How much does ceramic coating cost?
GenTek Ceramic 9H is $795 including GST for any vehicle size, hatchback to four-wheel drive, with the decontamination, clay bar and machine polish included. Extensive paint correction is quoted separately if the paint needs it.
How long does Ceramic 9H last?
One application, warranted for seven years from the day it is applied. The warranty is active immediately, with no yearly inspections and no reapplication fees, and it stays with the car while you own it.
Will it stop scratches?
No coating is scratch-proof. Ceramic 9H resists fine wash swirls and marring and makes contaminants let go with a normal wash. Stone chips, scratches and swirl marks are excluded from the warranty.
Can you coat a used car?
Yes, and used cars are often the ones that benefit most. The paint needs more preparation than a new car, and if it needs correction we'll tell you before we quote it.
Do I need to do anything to maintain it?
Wash the car regularly, remove droppings and sap early, and avoid abrasive polishing. That is the whole care list. There is no maintenance program to keep up.
